Kat stumbles while crossing the threshold of the door and lands face-first onto hard flagstones. A quick look shows that this 'home of the gods' looks little different from the castles in her homeland. If anything this place is less ostentatious and undecorated compared to home.
There are also two women looking down at her. One in armour dressed for war and the other in a green gown.

Katerina's cloak of mirrors reflects the drab passageway and the two ladies within the many little mirrors within it.
I'd have thought that the home of the Gods would be much grander than this. She gets herself up from the ground and dusts herself off, for the first time seeing the other two ladies. She gives a rather quick curtsy.
"Oh hello." Kat says politely. One of them is possibly a Goddess and the other her guardian, or perhaps a warrior Goddess and her maid. Difficult to tell at this stage so she leaves her statement open ended for either to answer. "My name is Katerina and I have come in search of the Gods and Goddesses to help my father's Kingdom. Might you perhaps be one of them and am I in the right place now? The Kings in the mirrors told me it was this way."

The armored woman steps in front of her aunt protectively, a hand on the hilt of her sword. She is a 6' tall muscular woman with a serious countenance. Her breastplate is of dark iron, her weapons of sturdy design inscribed with Nordic runes. She has fair hair in braids and emerald green eyes. She looks like she has just completed a long and arduous journey; her rough woolens tell of a life on the road.
"Your full name, rank and lineage if you please. You have chosen a testing time to drop in unannounced."

So, the woman is the Goddess and the warrior is her guardian.
Katerina tries to smile patiently and makes no sudden moves. "My full name is Katerina Alswyck, and i am a Princess of the Kingdom of Myrtrecht on Eshara and I am a mirrormancer. I travelled through the mirror maze to get here to the Realm of the Gods here for my adopted father King Edgar III as our Kingdom is being beaten by the demon Knights of Longharron. I apologise if this is not a convenient time, but our need is urgent. You hve a powerful mirrormancer there who controls that corridor that I just passed through."

Eivor frowns trying to make sense of what Kat is saying.
"So, tell me of this mirrormancer who has directed you here. Presuming your intentions are honorable, it may be that we can assist you and your father against the Demon Knights, but we will expect fealty in return."

Katerina didn't like to see the warrior maid frowning. That was never a good sign. She opened her hands out with her palms showing in a non threatening guesture.
"No, I walked and survived the mirror maze to get here, to the realm of the Gods and Goddesses, or so it is said. It was only when I arrived that I came across the corridor of mirrors through there that was made by your mirrormancer. As the Gods and Goddesses, of course you have our fealty, though our people have not seen any of you for millenia and none can even remember what you even look like now. Only the legened remained that walking the mirror maze would get us to the realm of the Gods. Many have tried but none ever returned, so I hope that I have not erred in anything that I have done or made you angry." Katerina replies getting down on one knee.
"I saw the dead God Prince Delwin and Goddess Princess Fiona in the mirrors, but I refused his offer and he seemed displeased with me. Pricess Fiona seemed somehow amused. I hope that I did nothing wrong. I don't really know how things work here and I'm very confused."

"Arise, Princess Katerina Alswyck of Myrtrecht," Eivor says, her expression softening. She turns to her aunt. "If this lady is capable of walking the maze, she may be a valuable asset. Perhaps Benedict's task can wait until this issue has been resolved. I'm sure both this kingdom and its princess will be suitably grateful."
"You are able to make your way back without difficulty, I assume?" She asks Kat.

Katerina gets to her feet and smacks the dust from her trousers beneath her cloak. Getting back was not something she had considered when she went for the help of the Gods. Surely they would know how to get back? They were Gods and Goddesses after all. She had no idea who else they were discussing, apparently they were all Princes and Pricesses here in the land of the Gods.
"Thank you, but I had not thought about how I would get back. I kind of assumed when I walked the Mirror Maze that the Gods and Goddesses here would know of my world and would come straight back with me. I guess that sounds really niaive to you though doesn't it." She bit her lip thinking how pathetic all this sounded. She needed to impress the Goddess not show her feableness. She tried to search with her mind for the way back. She could still feel and see the infinite reflections of the Mirror Maze in the back of her mind.
"I can feel the Mirror Maze in the back my mind. How do I instruct it to get me back home? Will it just answer my request?" She asks.

#s://i~ibb~co/j5FLskF/Florimel~jpg Flora watched the young women converse with a look of interest and the hint of a wry smile. "Eivor, if you wish to tell the god Benedict that you wish to ignore his commands and play with a new friend instead, well, I just have to say good luck with that.
"Princess Katerina," the goddess in green says, taking Kat's arm. "You made a wise choice in coming to the home of the gods when Myrtrecht was attacked. Ah, Eshara! It hs been ages since I last walked its great plains and climbed its highest peaks.
"You must tell us more about the state of your homeland but never let it be said that us gods and goddesses are poor hosts! I see you in such a state and think that you need a good meal and a warm bath.
"Come, Eivor, Goddess of War, let us bring our young companion to our great feast hall."

Eivor stays diplomatically silent, nodding her assent. Anything she had to say would only confuse their guest further and solidarity was important when greeting strangers. Later, then. There was more than one way to deal with this situation.
Noting her aunt has taken Kat by the arm she drops back a half-step, letting her take the lead.

So they were both Goddesses, though the one in green was in charge by the looks of things. She allowed the Goddess in green to lead her.
"You have been to Eshara?" Katerina says in wonder. "The Great Plains of Thigrond alas were overrun by the Demon Knights last year Goddess. Our forces were unable to hold them back and they captured it. Our men die from their wounds and the Demon Knights recover quickly. Our superiority in tactics has being eroded over the years and they are becoming more cunning. It would be foolish of me to refuse your hospitality divine one."

#s://i~ibb~co/j5FLskF/Florimel~jpg "Oh yes, I have been there many times, but the last visit was so long ago that everything must be different now. You said that you walked the Mirror Maze; that must have been a harrowing experience."The enter a large dining hall. Kat sees many different people dressed in dozens of different styles and hears a babble of voices in many different languages. Eivor recognizes many of the people from the days in Amber. Of the family, only Llewella is present sitting at a table speaking with Lord Chantris. Various minor nobles of Amber's Houses, foreign nobles and diplomats, and representatives from trade guilds are also about. Eivor's aunt gives her a nod and smile when she takes a glance away from Chantris. Flora leads the women to a table. "Instead of trying to decide on some sort of unfamiliar food from the chef's menu why not go over to the buffet and take what you'd like, Kat."

Eivor inwardly curses, feeling completely unprepared to deal with nobles and their endless questions.
This is not your home, she reminds herself. You are a guest, act accordingly. Do not shame your hostess.
Leaving Aunt Flora to keep an eye on Kat, Eivor approaches Llewella and bows, also acknowledging Chantris with a nod. She waits to be acknowledged before speaking.
He doesn't seem to have aged a bit. I wonder how many midnight rituals he has had to perform to accomplish that feet?
"Aunt Llewella, it is good to see you. I don't believe we were formally introduced when last I was in Amber. Crises being what they are, there is little time for polite conversation. When convenient I would be pleased to hear your counsel, and what you have heard of the events leading up to the tragic loss of your brother the king. Perhaps also your thoughts on what happens next?"
"I'm afraid the Lord Protector has a task for me, but I should still like the opportunity to talk properly if time permits."

Kat nods as she follows the Goddess into this new room. There were so many people here and she wasn't sure which were the Gods and Goddesses and which were the servants of the Gods.
"Yes, there were several really tough points that I had to struggle through. I even encountered those in there that the Maze had ensorcelled to serve and protect it. I guess that their minds were not strong enough. Am I the only one to come through from Eshara?" It could be that she was the first to survive the Mirror Maze, in which case her mission was all the more important.
Kat looks at the numerous varieties of food on the tables and selects things that she broadly recognises or that look edible to her to put onto her plate. Then she locates eating tools, which thankfully look the same as back at home and goes to rejoin the Goddess in green. She carefully arranges her cloak around the chair as she sits.
"How many Gods and Goddesses are here? I must confess with our world being so out of contact with you we have forgotten your names and forms. Perhaps when you return and help us against the Demon Knights we can make statues to honour you all?"

Random spoke of you on occasion, wondering where you had gotten to. I know he would have been glad to see you back in Amber.
"Lord Chantris, you remember Lady Eivor?" With some difficulty, Chantis tears his eyes from Llewella. "Indeed I do, We fought together at the edge of the Abyss never knowing if the next minute would be our last. How are you, my lady?" he asks while standing and giving her a little bow. The cordial introduction complete, he sits back in the chair and his eyes lock on Llewella again. "We certainly should find time for a confab. I'd like to hear about what you've been up to and I imagine Benny said little to you other than orders."
