"In Rebma it's called Mirror Wrighting," Lorelei answers Katerina. She reaches into one of her belt-pouches and draws forth a clam-shell. Opening it reveals a small mirror inside. Laying her will upon the mirror and using her power, Lorelei causes the mirror to connect to a random mirror along the promenade leading to Castle Rebma. The scene shows a mix of people, all wearing very little, shopping the various stalls among small clusters of tiny fish. She shows this to Katerina, saying, "My home..." .

Mirrormancy .... Mirror Wrighting. Katerina plays the words around in her head as she watches fascinated the scene under the water with all the strange creatures and people that are there. In the end she decides its probably the same thing and that its just a local vocabulary difference.
"It's beautiful, but there must be some magic for you to beathe under there. I have read a little .... but I didn't expect it to be like that. I would love to visit your home in the future; if I can that is. I'm sorry but I don't know how these things work, its all so new to me." She replies to the Princess.

"For those of the most ancient blood-lines nothing else is needed to live anywhere in the sea. Our proximity to Amber has resulted in cross-breeding between the ancient bloodlines and air breathers, stripping this ability from many. For their benefit, as well as for surface visitors, the water's of the stairs of Faiella-Bionin and a dome over the city have been enchanted to support these air-breathers. Prematurely stepping off the stairs or exiting the dome elsewhere for them, however, will prove fatal due to the pressure at those depths," Lorelei explains.
"As long as one remains on the stairs or within the city's dome there is relative safety. Any who come without malice in their hearts are welcome to visit; some even choose to make a life there." .

Brian takes the conjured material and takes time to sort out how to hang it up on the sails. He looks up at Eivor "You ever put up a sail before." He yells up to her. "I figure between the two of us we can probably hang this up. "He turns to Lorelei "Though Princess I imagine your knowledge might help us put this task to bed quickly."

Turning to Brian, Lorelei says, "To say I have knowledge of sailing may be an overstatement. Most of the ships I have seen were sitting on the sea-floor, often broken. I know the sail needs to be rolled before it it lifted. Once it is secured at the top, it can be unrolled under it's own weight. How it is controlled is beyond me.".

He laughs a bit at Lorelei "A long time ago I learned the knot work needed for this thing. But i've never actually put up a new sail before. When I've been on boats of late I'm not having to hoist up sails."

Lorelei might remember that Calvera sailed with Gerard for a time. But he is curled up in a coil of rope. It must be a good spot becuase the ships cat is sleeping on top of him.

Eivor looks down at Brian and smiles. "Aye, I have and more than once. Toss me the halyard and I'll make sure its in position."

Having done her bit, Katerina is content to slip into the background whilst the Gods and Goddesses go about their work repairing the ship. Kat makes her cloak once more become plain and normal, so that it and her do not stand out.
She stands to the side and watches them go about their work, even as she watches beyond the ship in case there should be a waterspout.

Brian ties up the rigging and tosses it up to the Eivor and he gives her a salute "I will take the Lady's direction"

Lorelei allows Katerina to continue studying the scene in her small mirror for as long as she wants before putting it away. Seeing that Brian and Eivor have the sails handled, she stays out of their way.
She asks the watch to steer clear of trouble and, unless Eivor wishes to act sooner, we will see what can be done about reaching a known port soon after everyone is rested.
Having been casually watching it since everyone sought rest, she strolls over and sits by Calvera so that she can lightly stroke the cat's fur... Normal cats, and dogs, are virtually unheard of in Rebma... .

Calvera cracks an eye at your approach and watches until you settle down and pet the cat. Then he seems to go back to sleep.

Brian looks up at Eivor "Which one of us do you think the Bad Omens were trying to harm? Or is this a good omen taking us where we need to be?"
He also checks on the two other ladies out of the corner of his eye

Between Brian and Eivor's efforts, the jib and sail are set in place, and the Antelope gains a little speed in the breeze. Yet, since the current flows contrary to the breeze, the ship lacks a straight direction of travel - not an issue since there is no visible land to sail to.
Eivor can not see land from her high perch, but in the far distance are some odd shapes laying close to the waterline, maybe wreckages of some sort. It is impossible to say how far off they are as the Shadows can play tricks with distances and horizons.

"Is that a thing," Katerina replies to Brian, "or just some superstition? This ship thing was not in good condition when we left and the storm would have seen to it that all its faults were exposed. I was shocked personally that we did not end up going down to meet Princess Lorelei's relatives below."
