"We'll believe it when we see it.
"Prince Bleys rides about these lands every few days. Hoping for someone to challenge him to a duel, they say. Just another damned thing we have to deal with out here."

I nod to them. " thank you for your time. "
I make my way to see if another farm house might have seen Matthew and his ilk....seems likely not happening

No luck at the other farm. Whatever happened in the hollow wasn't witnessed by anyone in the area.

I make my way back towards Amber city and the castle, unless enough time to make it to the pathway to Rebma exists. If there is enough time I'll try the path to Rebma

What time limit would there be?

What time limit would there be? Ooc: I'd not like to be underwater at night trying to find shelter or deal with Rebman castle nonsense and then be caught late. IC: If enough daylight remains I make my way towards Rebma. If there isnt enough daylight to make a pass at Rebma Brian makes his way to Lord Bayle's....going back to Castle Amber doesnt have Answers just yet

[OOC - For all practical purposes sunlight doesn't reach Rebma, at least not at a useful intensity on even the best of days. Magical light and mirrors are the order of the day, and night, in Rebma. There is effectively no difference between day and night... unless dealing with surface dwellers. The stairs near Garnath are lit, Lorelei is at Castle Amber and could pass him through a mirror, anyone could Trump him to Llewella if she is home (in Rebma)... Barring a lockdown, there IS no bad time to go there.] .

The day is still young. And in this rain he will be properly moistened before heading into the sea.
The beach is as described. Failla-Boinin also is as he was told. Forest behind, sea in front, as told. The giant inflated dead fish being pushed on and off the beach with the waves had been unremarked upon by Lorelei.

[OOC] I may be over-stepping but I'm going to insert this here.[/OOC]
-> Cody's Ship <-
A GIANT Sturgeon the size of an Airbus A380. It has scales that show Vantablack on its back and vantawhite on its belly. The fins show as polished chrome. There are a pair of massive air bladders on its back with an assortment of speckles that appear to be alternately translucent portals and/or blowholes.
There are another pair of ballast bladders on the fish's belly with a big marsupial pouch in-between.
At the moment the air bladders appear to be somewhat deflated and a lot of the scales are missing and/or damaged.
There are about a half dozen people on and/or swimming around the fish trying to coax it back upright and into deeper water.
Three men climb onto the big Puffer and two of them are waving their arms and pointing towards shore and also in the direction of Failla-Boinin.
Brian may vaguely remember seeing such a fish 'docked' at the O'Neill cylinder where Brian and Cody helped Able.

Then I go to check out the fish....I mean...Cody's ship? That's weirdly coincidental. But a welcome coincidence if it is

There's a collective cheer of "We made it!" As the group on and around the giant Puffer work to revive it.
Cody, 'on deck' with Salts and Depths, "You guys are free to head to shore and make your way into Amber. Although, you are welcome to stay since you now have some experience working the Puffer and you could help teach others."
"I just wish for your sakes that your Ghera Ambassador wasn't such a tyrant."
"I don't know what sort of reception I'll receive here, so without any existing authority, I can't really offer you any sort of protection."
Cody shakes their hands.
In the water, Reggie jabs the Puffer with a harpoon sized hypodermic needle in a couple of places while Deek, Jessup and Eugenia apply salves to the raw areas.
The big fish heaves and the three men on 'deck' are tossed into the water as the Puffer turns itself over into deeper water.
