I didn't take his eye. You did that.

Yup. But you can fight Hammett for the colours. Sounds like there is going to be a glam-off in Amber.

Actually, Leo did it.

Just to be clear, Hammett doesn't have any official "colors". He finds the concept kind of silly and archaic. He'll wear whatever he feels like at the time or is the current fashion of where he is. Heck, he'll even wear white after labour day and not give a damn. If it looks good and is stylish (although usually "classically" stylish, ie, tuxes, classic cut suits, etc...) he'll wear it in whatever colors he feels like at the time.
Also, do any of the "next" generation have "colors"? I don't recall Merlin or Martin having "colors", but it has been a long time since I read the books. I actually forgot that the elders had specific colors related to them.

Merlin wears purple and grey for a while but also chooses blue and gold, his and Luke's uni colours, to wear for L's coronation. So he may be undecided. Luke seemed to favour the green of Brand.
Personal colors are good if a royal has a personal staff and army. Also a symbol os good for flags on ships and banners for the army. Heraldry has its uses.

I checked back through some old posts. Looks like my colors are Black and Orange. Thats what's on my banner anyway.
I am still going to be unreasonable about you wearing Eric's colors.

Tense moment in Jax's room. Am I the only one who wants to see violence unleashed?

No, they have to save that anger up for later.

Don't be so sure about that, Hamm. If Random is dead and a war for the throne begins it would be good to have an idea of how your character ranks against the others.

Oh I know how I Rank. I could kill them both where they stand.
And since I know that I don't have too. Guns are a feable weapon when you have the force on your side.

Also for Nat And Jax. I hadn't meant to convey quite so much menace but I'm happy with how that played out. I got to play my charcter in a stressful situation. We've established Calvera is a very dangerous man judging by the amount of security you brought. And now I know I can take you both.

I will admit, Brennon tends to assume he'll beat anyone who isn't a Lord/Lady of Chaos or better. I happen to know he's wrong, but that's what Stuff is for. To make sure he doesn't die from it

I hadn't meant to convey quite so much menace but I'm happy with how that played out. The scene was really lively and things took a surprising turn. I really enjoyed reading it. You three did great.

"I assume it will take a bit longer to regrow the eye."
The record is 4 years. See if you can beat that.

I'm sure I will. By a long, long margin.
Corwin had his eyes roughly burned out by hot pokers, destroying the optic nerve, cauterizing the inside of his eye sockets, etc...
My eye was badly damaged but removed via surgery by a skilled surgeon with minimal extra injury caused by the removal and all the internal areas hopefully kept intact.
Plus, Corwin was then thrown in an unsanitary dungeon with no medical aid, poor food, and no hygiene.
I received expert medical (and probably magical) care right from the get go and have on-going access to expert medical care, comfort, sanitation and diet (and magical aid).
So I imagine I'll have my eye back in well less then a year. Heck, if I really want to I can just stop by a shadow with advanced technology (or magic) and have it regrown in a couple of hours (minutes actually).
Seems like Jax has just the shadow for that kind of thing.
