Hi everyone. New player joining the team. Like Leonil I've been playing RPGs since 1980 or so, starting with the old D&D blue and red books back in the day. Played a whole bunch of games since then, off and on over the decades. I've read the Amber series twice and have the rule book. I too have Shadow Knight, somewhere in storage. I'm already familiar with Administrator Man (who I know as Kal) and Brennon/Zincht from a previous Amber game.

"<<OCC: I can't believe you Gus Fring'd me.>>"
That was funny. Yes, I thought of that scene too when I read the description. Could have been worse. Have you seen Lost? Remember the episode when they find the dynamite?

I like the touch of the red gem eye. Sure to raise a few eyebrows with people who want to recover the Jewel of Judgment, not that Hammett will be able to see those eyebrows, well maybe 50% of them.
That seriously made me lol.

Well, that made me laugh too. I thought, not only has Hamett lost half of his face, but now he painted a large target on his back. Brave.

Hammond. You are wearing my colors.
You are not a son of Eric are you?
If not the player may have made a mistake the a son of Amber would not have made.

I don't know who my father is, but he was a member of the Amber royal family. I'm "old" in setting terms, born and raised out in the Golden Circle, and then spent a long time in Amber (training with Benedict, part of Gerard's fleet patrolling the Golden Circle, working with Julian in the Arden forest patrol, as an ambassador between Amber and my home Golden Circle shadow, etc...), all well before Corwin tried to take the throne or the black road was created or any of the stuff discussed in the first series of books. I got lost/stuck out in shadow for many "Amber years" before all that occurred, and only recently returned after the events of both book series ended. So I missed all the crazy stuff, the attack on Amber, Corwin spending years in prison, the war vs the courts, Eric's death, the new pattern, etc...

Personal colours aren't inherited otherwise everyone would have Dworkin's or Oberon's colours.

That's all well and good.
But I think Calvera is going to be irrational about it.
Just a heads up so you don't think its personal.
I find it easier to negotiate in game conflict if you give people a heads up. And avoiding conflict and drama kind if misses the point of Amber.

I, for one, am all in on your characters competing amongst each other. With any luck the fallout from Leonil's actions will cause you all to fight one another. I can only hope Hammett's motto is 'an eye for an eye'.
