A child of Prince Caine and a woman in shadow, Vincent is an acknowledged scion of Amber. He is familiar with the city, castle and peoples of Amber. Likewise, he has designated room(s) within the castle. If there's a family Christmas card list, he's probably on it. While familiar with Amber, this is not Vincent's permanent residence. He's gone more than he is around and he has, in actuality, only visited Amber a dozen or two times. Some of these visits have, of course, been fairly long stays. He's just under 6' tall and is identifiable by his thick dark hair, dusky complexion and beard. Vincent also sports an athletic build. He usually dresses casual; his colors black & magenta. While the shadows lie for him in respect to age -as they do any Amberite- a casual observer may judge his age to be early-thirties. Vincent is a reputed scholar of peoples, culture, mythology and monsters, holding shadow-learned degrees in anthropology and archeology. Like many royals, he has a gift for languages, speaking several. This man is also a musician, with a leaning towards Blues. His raspy-rough singing voice is accentuated by years of cigar smoking. Vincent, other facts/rumors * Has walked the Pattern. This happened sometime during Patternfall. * Athletically capable. Those muscles ain't just for show, ladies & gents! * Has a favorite horse (Bishop): a grey spotted Arabian * Plays a variety of musical instruments, including a mean harmonica! * A machete kurkri with silvered blade and bone handle seems to his "signature" weapon. Its name is Représailles. * His shadow origins, and his mother, are sometimes rumored to be connected to Chaos and/or the Black Road. * Carries a revolver, even in Amber despite it probably not functioning there. Vincent would know Hammett, Eivor, Lorelei, Edmund, Martin, and Calvera from his visits to the castle pre-game.

Vincent would know Hammett, Eivor, Lorelei, Edmund, Martin, and Calvera from his visits to the castle pre-game. OOC: I have reached out to some of these players regarding a link in background information. Lorelei's player replied that Lorelei herself would have been a small child when/if met by Vincent. Hammett also replied, thanks. Eivor, anything? GM: What does Vince know about Martin, Edmund and Calvera, pre-game?

Vincent would have met them around the castle over the years. Martin was easygoing and managed to keep out of any plots or trouble, Edmund was powerful but sly and spent more time in Arden and out in shadow than in Amber and the castle, Calvera is strong and imperious and disliked by most for his inflexibility and haughtiness. You can choose if Vincent liked, hated, or didn't care about them.
It is doubtful that he had met Leonil since the man was in Amber only a short while. Xu Liang is new to Amber. Vincent would probably know Dorian. He was born during the time Gerard was ruling Amber while everyone else was fighting along the Black Road and was in and out of Amber regularly until recently.
Did I miss anyone?

For Calvera, when he was still a PC, a good depiction of his character would be the main character at the beginning of the old movie, "The King and I", only x1000% the arrogance and blood-thirsty... haven't seen much of him as an NPC yet... "The King and I" 1956 Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr (I've only found clips and pay-per-view available so far) based on the older "Anna and The King Of Siam" 1946 Irene Dunne & Rex Harrison ( youtu.be/RI6ofc-h8mU )
