A list of a few places that may be of interest to the characters. The list will be added to with new ideas I have and places created by the players during the game.
KASABA - a seaport not in the Golden Circle but a number of shadow paths converge in its bay and from caravan routes. A place of intrigue, brawling, and business dealing, legitimate and not so legal.
Nightlife abounds in the bars, inns, and taverns of the place. Search out the Blue Parrot and Rilk's Cafe for 5-star treatment. A new entertainment establishment known as Wormwood's has recently been established and has been a hit with locals and visitors alike.
MIKE'S SALOON - a place just off the highway where the shadows are thin and people of all kinds make their way for cheap drinks and a good time. No food service but burgers and pizza can be ordered and delivered from nearby joints.

Kashfa/Begma/Eregnor
All three places are in the same shadow. Sea lanes from the main trunk to Amber have branches into the capital cities in Kash and Beg. King Rinaldo rules Kashfa with his consort Nayda. Rinaldo is also known as Luke and as a member of Amber's royal family. Nayda's true fate is generally unknown and assumed to be simply the daughter of PM Orkuz of Begma.

Still not 100% on this.
Is Eregnor is the name of the Shadow or just another Nation in the same Shadow? In this Shadow there are two (or more rival nations) one is Kashfa and one is Begma. (comparable to the USA and Russia as a real world example) They don't like each other and are in conflict, but Kashfa is considered the "true" rulers of the Shadow because it is the one Amber stands behind. But Begma has it's own leaders, politics and plans that sometimes (often) go against the wishes of Kashfa and King Rinaldo (and therefor also go against the wishes of Amber).
Is all that correct?
And why is this Shadow considered so important to Amber and not just another Golden Circle shadow like the one Kasaba is in?

Yeah, all three places are in the same shadow but Amber has dealings with Kash and Begma as they are both members of the Golden Circle treaty and the shadow path to the world starts out in the ocean where it is equally accessible to both nation's ships.
Amber treats all it's treaty shadows as important but Kashfa is special as the ruler is of Amber blood, Begma gets some consideration due to it being Coral's homeland too. Eregnor is Dalt's homeland and so is also of interest to Amber.
If the blending of the royal families of Kash and Beg has lowered tensions in the area then the place may be dull and not of any interest to us in the game. But the Begman's have been trying to influence Hammett and the Kashfans are making some sort of agreement with those in Kasaba for some reason, and Dalt is still an enemy of the state of Amber so there may be reasons to visit the shadow.

KASABA version of Earth
Mostly like Earth in 1941. The world is at war and Kasaba is a small city on the northwest coast of Africa, temporary home to many of the displaced Europeans fleeing the war. Added to the mix are the people from other shadows who have wound up trapped in the port. Kasaba is the only access point to the shadow paths and Amber's trade routes.
Captain Renault commands the local police force.
It's all a riff on that Casablanca jive!
