Hammett fights his way forward, his already deadly sword, now Trump infused and delivering extra shock damage to any attempts to use Logrus against him and possibly against some of the more chaos formed demons. As an extra trick up his sleeve he makes use of the Power Word "Resume true form" to momentarily disrupt and/or distract some of the shape-shifting demons blocking his way, but he uses that sparingly, not wanting to risk tiring himself out.

Dio reaching over the edge of the mountain looking at the battle royal happening. She tries to locate mother superior to assist her in the fight. Before she is able to take a step she is rooted to the ground.
At first she lowers herself to become a smaller target for projectiles. She then scans the area. The man who flew through the hole again by Vada the white silhouette up on a ledge. Sir Hammett and the others she had walked with.
When she has localized Mother Superior she wants to force herself out of the binding or spell fighting it with her own psyche.

Brain, Dionisia, Hammett, and Lorelei:I know! I've done that many times myself, and, as you say, you can never quite catch that inspiration or idea like when you were first typing it out. I installed a browser app to record fields, but I'm sure it is a security risk, but I have lost hours of work when I, or Windows, or Firefox, screw up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fighting continues. From the hole in the cavern wall that the burnt man created, Dalt pulls himself into view carrying the tattered remains of climbing gear and severed rappelling ropes. He sees Vada and draws his greatsword. Vada sees him and snarls a spell which blasts him out the opening and off the side of the mountain. On the other side of the cavern, high on the wall where a bit of outcropping juts, a point of light extends and morphs into a white silhouetto of a man. It reaches to its left and a golden orb of light begins to form. Lorelei's spell works its way through the cavern and binds every non-PC to their spot - except Dionisia who had come into the casting's ambit and finds herself rooted in place. And Vada, who spits out a power word and is able to resume her gathering up of the chest. Lorelei hears and feels what must be a cross between the largest bell in shadow being rung and a thunderclap which disorients her and causes the Broken Pattern to be lost from her mind. Brian and Hammett find that although the demons are stuck to their spot on the floor they can still swing their weapons about and those which can shapeshift have very long reaches. It takes a bit of manoeuvering and slashing to try and work closer to Vada... I turn to Hammett "One of us is bad luck for Dalt....Its probably the Princess."
[ OOC: Any Chance I can team up with Hammett's moves to take advantage of our working as a unit on this?]

Brian and Hammett:
[OOC: It depends on what you both are trying to do. Talk amongst yourselves but make it quick.]
Dionisia:
The spell which holds Dio is quite strong and infused with a power she has not come across before. But the power is unstable; subtle cracks and fissures mar the smooth flow of energy. Even so, undoing the working of a spell is a long and delicate job, not easily accomplished in a battle. With the Logrus in her mind, she could use its power to break the spell, but the results of that could be explosive or disastrous.
Lorelei:
The dizziness and confusion from the spell will take a bit of time to sake off before Lorelei can bring the Broken Pattern back to her mind. Probably more than enough time for the hidden sorcerer to strike again!

After sensing the spell and its delicate state she choses away from total destruction. Attackink it with the Logrus would do more harm then good in this battle. Though since the spell binding her feet is a low mist on the ground ahe stands up straight again. Holding her hands higher she there tries to call the logrus to mind. Wanting to use the tendrils to aid in the fight. Throwing demons away or pushing them into the weapons of others.

OOC: And now it will take Dio a minute to summon the Logrus to her. OOC: She is stuck anyway to the ground and not wanting to cause a huge explosion she'll work carefully keeping the tendrils when summoned away from the ground. So it may take a bit.

[OOC: To clear up any potential confusion...
The spell Lorelei cast had a watered-down version of Create Fog (Rebma, page 133) rolled into it to 'create' the 'water/fog' as described in the original post that the main part of the spell works on...
The main part of the spell is based on the Anchor spell (Rebma, page 100), modified to be Area of Effect. The original version is listed below so everyone can see how it works...
And based on Admin's description, the spell is obviously powered by Advanced Broken Pattern...
Anchor Reaches to the bottom of any pool or body of water and creates a link between it and the body of the subject, allowing it to remain in one place in the water without fear of drifting from the spot. Mostly used for targets larger than human-size, such as ships or sea-creatures. This link is magical in nature and has little physical reality, and since it affects the subject’s entire body, there is nothing to struggle against, making it very difficult to break free from. The anchor adjusts to the level of the casting, stretching a little, so that it does not pull anchored subjects underwater when the tide rises, or suspend them above the water if the level decreases. This spell assumes that the target has some form of natural or artificially induced buoyancy (it floats or can swim) and does not provide for this. Anchored targets who exhaust themselves will eventually sink and drown. ]

[[OCC: So how does that work on things here, when they are on solid land? Is it just an immobilize spell then? ]]

If their battles bring them close then Hammett and Brian, both skilled in warfare, will synch their fighting styles together. Naturally beginning to cover each other's backs and working together to dispatch foes, with the goal of reaching Lady Vada as quickly and directly as possible.

[OOC: As I mentioned on Discord only moments ago, just imagine it as having a rope from each of the cardinal directions tied around your torso... arms and legs CAN move (inside the spell's field), but that won't move you... Were the depth of the fog to increased, your natural buoyancy if sufficient would raise you to the surface, or you could swim/fly/jump to the same effect, but you remain in the same forward/back/right/left position relative to the ground... For the shape-shifters I'd say their center of mass is locked to that location...]

"See.....I am worried the party back in Amber will be dull in comparison to this."
I work to see if if the demons guarding Vada can with the magic being flung around be put off base enough to create a big enough opening. I want to take it of course.....but this has taken too long. I will let Hammett get his hands around Vada first and if she dies she dies. But I want information out of her. This is all part of something bigger.

Fighting continues.
The ghostly silhouette form continues to grow a golden disk from its hand.
Brian and Hammett continue to cut their way through the demons. Hammett uses his power words to improve his progress at the cost of draining his endurance - not an issue for him just yet. Suddenly, he is struck by spell of some sort and falls to the ground writhing in pain.
Brian breaks through the last of the demons and delivers a long cut along Vada's forearm as she draws her sword. Hissing she begins a defensive fight backing away from Brian's pressure.
Lorelei and Dio manage to get their powers up and can rejoin the fight.

Dio will focus on the logrus to shape its tendrils in sharp whip like extremities.
If she cannot move into battle she will start picking off the demons. With a pure focus on the logrus she guides the sharp tendrils to rush into a demon and then move out in different directions. Ripping demons apart from the inside.
Her main focus is to keep the backs of Hammett and Brian free from attackers so they can focus on their fight with Vada.
The General and Mother Superior can surely handle themselves.
