#s://i~ibb~co/gymQ9Gp/Dalt~png Dio:"Novitiate? What kind of religion sends kids like you out into a place like this?"He pulls his head above the edge with a one-handed pull. He sees the man in green across the room. "I bet he wasn't much help to you in all of this. Where is this mirrorball lighting coming from? The Ghost?"He gets his other hand onto the ledge and pulls himself over. Dio sees the tattered remains of a climbing harness and shirt, exposing his broad, muscular chest, which has been burnt from the magical blast he suffered at the start of the fight, along with older, still healing scars from some giant vicious monster's bite. Somehow, he managed to keep his broadsword strapped to his back through all the falling and climbing. He stretches his shoulders and massages his wrists as he looks over the cavern. "So who do we kill first? Let's make it quick because reinforcements are on the way."Across the mountain vista, Dio can see a dozen winged shapes heading towards them through the falling snow. They are still distant but will arrive in a few minutes.

"So who do we kill first? Let's make it quick because reinforcements are on the way."Across the mountain vista, Dio can see a dozen winged shapes heading towards them through the falling snow. They are still distant but will arrive in a few minutes. Dio shakes her head at the first question. "They did not send me i was brought here by another. The mother superior has come after me to collect me."
Her tone wavering in emotions she just does not know how to feel about it. Did she even want to return to the convent. "Our ways split up quickly and to be honest i have not been much help. The General brought me here but expecting me to fight his battles. " She looks over in the mist if she can spot the fight between the General and Mother Superior already. Her eyes moving to the ledge she nods "Those two they say the just observe but the silloutte has the same eyes like the light in the battlefield. At least the fog is dissolving. Which they claim they had no doing in creating.
With the fog gone it would make it much more clear who to fight. As i understand Vada is dead. And the group was looking for a friend taken by someone here."
Looking back at the winged forces heading their way she lets out a sigh. "Damnit. And no clue why i am telling you all of this but i figured before i am dragged back to the convent i hope you can help Sir Hammett."

Hammett & Lorelei:
"You lead her up the mountain. You failed to separate her from her captors. The Book of the Missing Eye makes no allowance for heathens."
"Neither of you bears that particular stench, and even if you did, our holy mission is inflexible: retrieve our daughter and inflict divine punishment on those who oppose us.
"Sister of Enforced Repentance, bring your talents if you please."
The other nun steps forward, her whip uncoiling and snapping like a living thing. She appears to be a plump, middle-aged woman, but her eyes are vertically slit like a snake, and a long forked tongue stretches out between sharp fangs.
The Mother Superior raises her sword into an en garde position.

Brian:The invisible entity either declines to answer or is unable to. Brian's raven, which of course, has been screaming its' warnings since he entered this place, now shrieks at a much higher pitch in his mind. "Don't be a fool, man. To let this fall into the hands of Ol' Briquette would mean the death of all of us!" the bearded man wheezes. He seems to be running out of strength. I take that under advisement and pull it closer to myself

"The book of the missing eye?" He motions to his own fake eye, "Are you sure I can't be an honorary member?"
He goes back to his defensive stance, "Lost mine in a pattern explosion. How do they lose it in the book?"

Brian:
The bearded man's strength gives out, and he falls back from the chest. Brian pulls it closer to himself, now having only the other invisible force to contend with.
Suddenly he feels the strength go out of his arms. The bearded man turns pale with fear and scrambles away into the fog. The chest is pulled from Brian's hands, and as it skitters into the mist, he sees the long sword blade that has burst through his sternum. The Armour of Ayalos may have saved his life, but his blood flows freely across the cavern floor where so many others have bled this day.

#s://i~ibb~co/gymQ9Gp/Dalt~png Dio:The mists are lifting, and the crazy light show takes it up another gear with the bright reflections spinning crazily across the room. From her position, she sees the General dead, the Mother Superior and Sister of Enforced Repentance facing off against Hammett and Lorelei. She can't see the body of Vada or her friends, the Sword of Chaos and Entropy. Brian lays bleeding on the ground. The burnt man holds a box in his hand while the ragged man stands guard. Demons stomp about deciding who to kill next. "So you were summoned by the General to fight here. That hardly seems fair.
"Yeah, I guess that I can help Hammett. Again. How about you run interference for me through all those demons?"

"Yeah, I guess that I can help Hammett. Again. How about you run interference for me through all those demons?"Dio shrugs to the man while her eyes go over his form ,things you don't see in the convent life that often should be appreciated. "I have been summoned but i had the choice to go or not. Though everything seemed better then the convent life."
She stands steady and starts to raise the logrus before her. Wanting it to be her happy stabby death tentacles as earlier in the fight. In a more focused and strained voice she speaks. "Seems the general is dead and the mother superior stands. So better that i enjoy things now before having to return and do my repentance." The last comes out with a heavy sigh as she knows duties will be hard and near impossible. She frowns at the bleeding form of Brian. "Is he not a friend of Sir Hammett? " With that she starts to step into the battle field again ready to stab and rip demons with the tendrils of the logrus. Forming a way for the broad chested blonde man...

She appears to be a plump, middle-aged woman, but her eyes are vertically slit like a snake, and a long forked tongue stretches out between sharp fangs. The Mother Superior raises her sword into an en garde position. The Ego and the Eel (well, technically more of a snake)... Lorelei has faced off against both types before. The Mother Superior was undoubted very skilled, but therein was her weakness - an over-estimation of her true skill and the certainty that she would win when she had not yet seen Lorelei fight. The Eel, Sister of Enforced Repentance, was a more straight-forward challenge - exceptional speed and a deadly bite; her whip was just an extension of that paradigm... " I hope my brother, King Merlin, will not be overly cross with me over today's actions..." That said, Lorelei throws the General's head at the Ego's solar plexus with all the strength one of her bloodline possesses. The flick of the Eels whip is dodged, barely, with the counter-strike removing part of the Eel's tongue and leaving a shallow cut across the back of the wrist of her whip-wielding hand. Where Lorelei's Pattern-blade makes contact with Chaosian blood, small flickers of flame appear as the blood is set alight... .

Hammet:
"The Serpent requires more than mere physical gifts to be accepted into his graces."
She comes to Hammett with skilled flourishes with her blade and presses him hard in battle. After climbing the mountain and all the battle in this cavern he feels a looseness in his knees, his arm doesn't swing his sword with quite the verve it would when he is better rested.
"You ask for a catechism lesson mid-battle? How about this: fighting me means you have already lost all you have been working for. You waste your time here and for what? The girl means nothing to you and all the while your goal gets farther and farther away from you."

Lorelei:
The Sister dodges the thrown head, Loelei's attacks don't manage to strike the woman who moves like a serpent. Likewise, the Sister's whip doesn't strike Lor.
"Naughty, naughty child. Do you imagine that I haven't tamed thousands of wayward girls like yourself in my time? You she-beasts always submit in the end and all their stubbornness gains them is greater repentant suffering."

Brian:
Clutching at his chest is useless as the armour of Ayalos is impervious to the pressure he can apply with his hand; this is truly its purpose in preventing things from reaching his skin. Also, the blade ran in from his back through his gut, so there are two wounds, one of which is difficult to reach. Trying to remove the armour requires reaching and stretching in ways that would probably increase the rate of blood loss.
He could try to crawl, understanding the risk of bleeding more freely, but where to? He can hear the damn horse bellowing in pain and other sounds of fighting, but it is too much effort to stand, and even raising his head high might be beyond his capabilities.

Dio:
The power of the Logrus guided by her hands and mind explodes in cold fury, slaying demons with ease. She sees the pleading in their eyes and questioning why she would so cruelly dispatch her kind while demons of Amber still stalk the chamber.
The man works his way forward with stops now and then to dispatch those demons Dio has yet to finish off.

Everyone:
The mirrorball flashing lights increase in intensity once again, and a howling sound begins to fill the chamber. The now-familiar sounds of the burnt man's laughter fill, reflect and echo about the room.
"I thank you all for your assistance, fools!
"Come, Dorian, our mistress demands our attendance!"
The lightshow ends.
