<( thank you Cody. I was feeling more than a bit plot beaten there. )>
<( ok so canvas is not going to help much, but I could use wood. In most other games I do, Arden is like super protected and there is no clear cutting going on. Not used to thinking this way. But lumber makes just as good supporting structure as metal)>
<( as for the labor this is a thing she would know in character so this she can do. Yes she will grab some workers. )>
<( I had thought she had been doing this traveling at night. It was described in her daily activities. Well I guess I have to change her again. Maybe she still the unique shadow traveling if she gets out of amber)>

[OOC: Strictly speaking it is Garnath that is being clear-cut, not Arden. Julian might get a little upset if the lumber-jacks made that kind of mistake.]

[[OOC: as mentioned before (I think) this game more then others (from what I have come to understand) definitely follows the rules much more, and is much more grounded then what it seems like other games online are. Sorcery in this game isn't super powerful and won't stand up to any of the major powers or people using those powers. Sorcery only costs 15 points so it is vastly weaker then Trump, Logrus or Pattern. Even less powerful then Shapeshifting which costs 35 points. So I wouldn't count on using sorcery to deal with any major problems unless way out in shadow and only against shadow folk for the most part. Unless you have super Psych and Endurance. Same if magic items. They are handy but very weak over all. Only truly powerful magic/sorcery will be if you get a Spikeard or similar powerful construct that taps into powers out in shadow. In the game it seems like a lot of NPC's are fighting over such places and items right now.]]

Ooc While psyke is her big stat, i did spend more on magic than traveling powers. Z'ra does not have pattern but she does have a way to travel through shadow. I thought I described it, and was cut down by plot. However this is okay. I'll make this work.
Yes I can see that this game is more by the book then other games. By reading the book no player should take Sorcery even if you have the time to properly hang spells, a simple power word, that is far cheaper by 2/3, stops all magic with a test of willpower. I made this toon magic and I'll stick with her. Bumps and all.
Again thank you Cody for pointing out that I was overlooking things. Character would have known that, but the player didn't. I have no shame in admitting that I was feeling more than a bit beaten there. Probably a bit of depression in there too.
In Character she will collect wood and workers, but she will have to make the glass herself. Her magic should work for this. Conjuration for the shape and size. Sorcery for the working of the glass. Should be a safe bet

<OOC> There are probably a lot of unemployed Mirror Mages at the moment that might be willing to help with the glass... 😀
I would imagine that if they are covering and hiding all the mirrors in Rebma and in Castle Amber, there should also be a general edict for the rest of Amber to keep their Mirrors covered. So Z'ra should know this. </OOC>

[OCC: May I ask why she is so driven to fix the vineyards? That seems like it'll be weeks if not months of in character work. Wouldn't it be more fun to get involved in the castle events, wars going on, the hunts for magical items/power sources, or finding the jewel of judgement? All good to do what you want, but I don't think you'll ever cross paths with any of the other Players while being out on a remote winery. And the speed at which this game progresses spending even just a month out at the vineyard, which is still in Amber, so passing at Amber time rate, could be a year in real life of posting. Just look at Xu's thread. It's been over two weeks or more in real life for less then 10 minutes passing in Amber. So of course do what you find fun and interesting, but consider it might be more fun to get involved with the other players and storylines.]]

It worth to mention that the wood from Garanath is cursed. Using it on the Vineyard will surely give interesting results.

<OOC> Since this thread has been snowed under with (hopefully) constructive criticism. Maybe we give Z'ra a mulligan. </OOC>

Ooc it has been very constructive and extremely helpful. So no need to Barrow an expert from shadow if we already have them just setting around on their thumbs.
Thanks for the wood knowledge. She can surely get not cursed wood from else werewolf. This shouldn't be hard seeing as her back story is as starting here as a carpenter. She just might know this about the wood already. Gm digression on this. So
If I am allowed a mulligan....
In character
With the land owner giving there approval she will set to work. She will use her little green wagon and go collect some lumber. With any luck treated for the weather. This she will wrap up in tarps and start looking for the worker. Skilled and with there own tools.
Player is going to stop there in case of rp.

OOC: Z'Ra does have travel powers with Broken Pattern; she'd just have to commit to getting through Arden and then further before she would be able to travel to different places.

Z'Ra finds the items she needs and the workers skilled enough to begin work. The construction begins. An issue would be the lens, as conjured items also do not last long close to Amber.

Ph you are misunderstanding. She is using conjunction to make the molda the liquid glass is going into. She is also molding the glass cooling it with magic to increase durability and to speed up the process. She is not making any glass with conjunction,

Got ya.
Glass is made, and mounting it can begin. These things take time so what is she doing while waiting?

This is going to sound bad but she is going to go to that tree described earlier, with all the super spy level protection, and listen to some lil birds. Let's see what can be heard.
